Giving a little more creative juices!

Hello Blogging World! After showing my pictures to Kathy, from a camping/hiking and beach trip, she suggested I make cards, posters, regular pictures, etc. and try to sell them. After contemplating it I decided I would come up with a way to do it. While taking pictures this past Saturday morning I came across this idea, Project SLR. I've wanted an SLR camera for a LONG time now and have not taken the time or effort to save money to buy one. Honestly I haven't found a REAL reason to have an SLR because I'm into photography but not seriously. If this seems to work (and maybe it will and maybe it won't) the money from the sold photos will go solely to a Nikon or a Canon, I have not set my heart on one or the other (although I loved and lost my first camera which was a Nikon, so I have partial feelings).

I haven't completely decided on methods of doing this whole thing so bare with me while I try to conquer school! I most definitely would like to hear from you the things that you're looking for in a picture. Most of my pictures are nature based, LOTS of sunsets! If you want to see how I photograph something a certain way you can ask me to take a picture of a specific thing and I'll post it. On top of this I'm not sure how well the photographs will turn out in large print form but you don't know until you try!

Honestly, I have to say the SLR is not the main reason for this blog being started. There are many people who have creative juices flowing through them that allow me to take the pictures that will be featured on this blog. I want to be able to provide that to someone. I want those reading to take whatever inspiration they get from looking at my photography and do something, create something that may inspire someone else. Keep the creative juices flowing!
I will post photos as soon as I have time to figure out how to work this thing =] until then:

The Hydraulics aren't working! We have to shut down the roller coaster!

I hate to break it down for you but if you know the whole roller coaster analogy of life I think you can skip to the next paragraph. I'm sure you've heard Life is like a roller coaster with the ups, downs, and loop-de-loops...Another way to think of Life being like roller coaster is one part of the coaster fails, it shuts down and no one can have fun, up or down. Well you find out pretty quick that when you're sick it's like the coaster gets shut down...well for me anyway. So Day 7 I woke up feeling terrible. Slept most of Day 7 and 8. Day 9 was my first day back to work and I'm exhausted.  I'm finally getting better though. I will post Day 7-10 tomorrow...hopefully. I'm pooped today! The coaster is up and running though, not full steam yet, but we're treckin' along, before I know it I'll make it to the top of the rise and be going faster than I can handle! (who says all downs have to be negative? in fact I think going downhill is WAY more fun ...

Framed Pictures

I bought four 8x11 picture frames at Michael's a couple weeks ago for some pictures I've been meaning to buy frames. Unfortunately the pictures I have don't fit in the frames, they're too big. SO I decided I am going to print four of my photos and put them in the frames and sell those. I have not decided on prices yet because I am unsure if I want to paint the frames or distress them more. I will post pictures of the complete products when I get the chance, this semester seems to be taking over a lot more than I expected. If there is something you would like to see framed or have ideas of things you would like to buy for yourself or a friend, email me to let me know, I will try me best to accommodate.

what would you doooooo for an entry?!

Day 4: fun! This day was last Friday. I got 2 hours of sleep and I could NOT sit at my desk at work. Luckily, a co-worker suggested getting one of the balls to sit at. OMG it was so fun! Day 5: Bird The best picture I can get. Day 6: You Day 7: Someone Who Inspires You I know this isn't a person, BUT I don't think he would like it much if I posted one of him recently. Plus this says why He inspires me...I deadlifted 135 for the first time the other day! Tonight I did 95 squat...I'm proud of myself, without him I wouldn't be growing strong(her) Day 8: A Smell You Adore =] Smells delicious
