HEEEEEELLLLLOOOOOOO

I have been meaning to update this thing for a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG time! Last time I posted, I was on my way out of Tucson, on my way to San Diego or Phoenix. Well I think I've kept you all (probably only 1 person reads this) in suspense long enough! I ended up in San Diego! Took me 3 months to find a job but I'm still at the same place. I like it alright, I LOVE my coworkers! They are what keeps me there! Living in San Diego was great don't get me wrong but there was always something about it that was missing.


There were many adventures in San Diego and I was able to go many different others. Survived 2 summers of K in Houston doing internships. We had many adventures: 

Phoenix

Maryland

 San Francisco

Yosemite 

Drive Highway 1 (Pacific Coast Highway)

Houston


K was able to graduate with his PhD and landed a job in DENVER! Well technically Golden. We bought a house and we are LOOOOOOOVING it!!

This everywhere! The snow isn't as bad as i thought it would be, though supposedly it was a mild winter. I hope to keep my posting more regular with my adventures around Denver, Golden and the mountains. The mountains and wilderness have always been a BIG part of my heart and soul! I have always loved the words of one of the great backcountry men, John Muir, "The mountains are calling and I must go."

I've been working on this post for way too long! BUT I wanted to get it just right! anyway, my canvas picture came! I'm so excited. It looks awesome but now I wish I had spent the money on the 14x16, or whatever is the next size up. updates more often???

I have more to post but this is the limit I have for tonight. I think I am slowly getting back into being passionate about photography again. I realized everyone and their mom is into doing photography but I realized I'm different from them. I don't do it for the money or the fame. I do it for enjoyment. I love getting the reaction from people, good or bad. I dislike photographing people in settings and I only do them in candid photos, it seems more natural to me. I love doing nature though. My goal is (at some point) to own all the different lenses I can and see what I can do. Right now I am looking at the possibility of a macro lens. ANYWAY, here's a couple photos from a few weeks ago. Giving a little more creative juices!

Hello Blogging World ! After showing my pictures to Kathy , from a camping/hiking and beach trip, she suggested I make cards, posters, regular pictures, etc. and try to sell them. After contemplating it I decided I would come up with a way to do it. While taking pictures this past Saturday morning I came across this idea, Project SLR. I've wanted an SLR camera for a LONG time now and have not taken the time or effort to save money to buy one. Honestly I haven't found a REAL reason to have an SLR because I'm into photography but not seriously. If this seems to work (and maybe it will and maybe it won't) the money from the sold photos will go solely to a Nikon or a Canon, I have not set my heart on one or the other (although I loved and lost my first camera which was a Nikon, so I have partial feelings). I haven't completely decided on methods of doing this whole thing so bare with me while I try to conquer school! I most definitely would like to hear from you the ...
