HEEEEEELLLLLOOOOOOO

I have been meaning to update this thing for a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG time! Last time I posted, I was on my way out of Tucson, on my way to San Diego or Phoenix. Well I think I've kept you all (probably only 1 person reads this) in suspense long enough! I ended up in San Diego! Took me 3 months to find a job but I'm still at the same place. I like it alright, I LOVE my coworkers! They are what keeps me there! Living in San Diego was great don't get me wrong but there was always something about it that was missing.


There were many adventures in San Diego and I was able to go many different others. Survived 2 summers of K in Houston doing internships. We had many adventures: 

Phoenix

Maryland

 San Francisco

Yosemite 

Drive Highway 1 (Pacific Coast Highway)

Houston


K was able to graduate with his PhD and landed a job in DENVER! Well technically Golden. We bought a house and we are LOOOOOOOVING it!!

This everywhere! The snow isn't as bad as i thought it would be, though supposedly it was a mild winter. I hope to keep my posting more regular with my adventures around Denver, Golden and the mountains. The mountains and wilderness have always been a BIG part of my heart and soul! I have always loved the words of one of the great backcountry men, John Muir, "The mountains are calling and I must go."

I've been working on this post for way too long! BUT I wanted to get it just right! anyway, my canvas picture came! I'm so excited. It looks awesome but now I wish I had spent the money on the 14x16, or whatever is the next size up. Here's a picture of the picture LOL   Now in the honor of all the rain we've had here in Tucson lately, I thought I'd give a show of thanks to my wonderful Rain Boots or Galoshes! I bought these beauties for $5 at Kohl's on clearance about 4 years ago. Everyone thought I was crazy. Everyone has a pair! I guess I'm a trend setter =P They have come in handy many times. I even bought another pair but I always seem to wear these ones... Valentine's Day! I know this is a little past due but today was the first day I have been able to take pictures. updates more often???

I have more to post but this is the limit I have for tonight. I think I am slowly getting back into being passionate about photography again. I realized everyone and their mom is into doing photography but I realized I'm different from them. I don't do it for the money or the fame. I do it for enjoyment. I love getting the reaction from people, good or bad. I dislike photographing people in settings and I only do them in candid photos, it seems more natural to me. I love doing nature though. My goal is (at some point) to own all the different lenses I can and see what I can do. Right now I am looking at the possibility of a macro lens. ANYWAY, here's a couple photos from a few weeks ago. ENJOY! A couple weekends ago I had the impulse to go hiking alone...well not completely, I brought my best friend, Nikon D90. I chose to go to Linda Vista Look-out. I have not made time and keep making excuses. After talking to a friend we discussed you don't have time unless you make time. You can't do what you love unless you make time. I haven't decided how exactly I'm going to do this but in due time it will work out. The picture above is my new favorite flower photo. Thanks to the beautiful flowers in the San Diego Zoo Parking lot! Kyle and I at Giraffes! Another parking lot flower! A parking lot picture of ME! Peacock was sitting on the fence!
