Bigger and Better

Unfortunately I'm not talking about my camera. My computer started being stupid and ended up needing new stuff. NOW it's got new and improved harddrive and CD/DVD drive. I have lots of pictures on my camera that I cannot wait to share. Spring Break is upon me and it's full of lazy busy work. I will be helping Kathy out at her booth at the 4th Avenue Spring Street Fair this weekend (March 19-21). Her booth number is on her website which is linked.

As soon as I get my computer in working order again, as far as files where they need to be again, I will post pictures I have been taking.

The weather is great here! If your reading this and the weather is nice get out and do something!

IT's HERE! =]

I've been working on this post for way too long! BUT I wanted to get it just right! anyway, my canvas picture came! I'm so excited. It looks awesome but now I wish I had spent the money on the 14x16, or whatever is the next size up. Here's a picture of the picture LOL Now in the honor of all the rain we've had here in Tucson lately, I thought I'd give a show of thanks to my wonderful Rain Boots or Galoshes! I bought these beauties for $5 at Kohl's on clearance about 4 years ago. Everyone thought I was crazy. Everyone has a pair! I guess I'm a trend setter =P They have come in handy many times. I have more to post but this is the limit I have for tonight. I think I am slowly getting back into being passionate about photography again. I realized everyone and their mom is into doing photography but I realized I'm different from them. I don't do it for the money or the fame. I do it for enjoyment. I love getting the reaction from people, good or bad. I dislike photographing people in settings and I only do them in candid photos, it seems more natural to me. I love doing nature though. My goal is (at some point) to own all the different lenses I can and see what I can do. Right now I am looking at the possibility of a macro lens. ANYWAY, here's a couple photos from a few weeks ago. Giving a little more creative juices!

Hello Blogging World ! After showing my pictures to Kathy , from a camping/hiking and beach trip, she suggested I make cards, posters, regular pictures, etc. and try to sell them. After contemplating it I decided I would come up with a way to do it. While taking pictures this past Saturday morning I came across this idea, Project SLR. I've wanted an SLR camera for a LONG time now and have not taken the time or effort to save money to buy one. Honestly I haven't found a REAL reason to have an SLR because I'm into photography but not seriously. If this seems to work (and maybe it will and maybe it won't) the money from the sold photos will go solely to a Nikon or a Canon, I have not set my heart on one or the other (although I loved and lost my first camera which was a Nikon, so I have partial feelings). I haven't completely decided on methods of doing this whole thing so bare with me while I try to conquer school! I most definitely would like to hear from you the ...
