New hobby

So I lied when I said in my last blog I would put pictures up later in the week...I got sucked into spending time with the Boyfriend and then I realized it was the weekend and I told Kathy I would help her with her booth. So to see what I did at the street fair take a look here. Kathy wrote a blog about the street fair and posted a picture I took or her booth and yarn and then a couple of me doing some new hobby stuff! I can now say I am addicted to fiber works.

So here's my little shout out to Kathy. If you're in Tucson, or near Tucson, next weekend, Kathy is having her Shearing Festival. All of her animals will be sheared, booths demonstrating different things, and her shop will be open. I've been working on this post for way too long! BUT I wanted to get it just right! anyway, my canvas picture came! I'm so excited. It looks awesome but now I wish I had spent the money on the 14x16, or whatever is the next size up. updates more often???

I have more to post but this is the limit I have for tonight. I think I am slowly getting back into being passionate about photography again. I realized everyone and their mom is into doing photography but I realized I'm different from them. I don't do it for the money or the fame. I do it for enjoyment. I love getting the reaction from people, good or bad. I dislike photographing people in settings and I only do them in candid photos, it seems more natural to me. I love doing nature though. My goal is (at some point) to own all the different lenses I can and see what I can do. Right now I am looking at the possibility of a macro lens. ANYWAY, here's a couple photos from a few weeks ago. MOTIVATION!

Day 16: Something New Monday night I bought a swim suit. Last night I did a make shift shrine thingy, to hang it in my bathroom. Today I took a picture of it! The center has a Calendar page where I'm going to keep track of working out. I have a goal and I'm not stopping til I reach it!
