Day 4: A Stranger

I'm dog sitting for a friend this weekend. I haven't left the house all day except for a walk with the dogs.  I didn't think about looking at my challenge...So here's an entertaining picture that fits the qualifications.


On our way to California to look for a place for Kyle to live, I was taking pictures of the scenery and clouds, and this guy took a picture of me. So naturally I took one of him...it was kind of fun!

How many people have a picture of me that I don't know?...that's a strange thought...

I've been working on this post for way too long! BUT I wanted to get it just right! anyway, my canvas picture came! I'm so excited. It looks awesome but now I wish I had spent the money on the 14x16, or whatever is the next size up. updates more often???

I have more to post but this is the limit I have for tonight. I think I am slowly getting back into being passionate about photography again. I realized everyone and their mom is into doing photography but I realized I'm different from them. I don't do it for the money or the fame. I do it for enjoyment. I love getting the reaction from people, good or bad. I dislike photographing people in settings and I only do them in candid photos, it seems more natural to me. I love doing nature though. My goal is (at some point) to own all the different lenses I can and see what I can do. Right now I am looking at the possibility of a macro lens. ANYWAY, here's a couple photos from a few weeks ago. Giving a little more creative juices!

Hello Blogging World ! After showing my pictures to Kathy , from a camping/hiking and beach trip, she suggested I make cards, posters, regular pictures, etc. and try to sell them. After contemplating it I decided I would come up with a way to do it. While taking pictures this past Saturday morning I came across this idea, Project SLR. I've wanted an SLR camera for a LONG time now and have not taken the time or effort to save money to buy one. Honestly I haven't found a REAL reason to have an SLR because I'm into photography but not seriously. If this seems to work (and maybe it will and maybe it won't) the money from the sold photos will go solely to a Nikon or a Canon, I have not set my heart on one or the other (although I loved and lost my first camera which was a Nikon, so I have partial feelings). I haven't completely decided on methods of doing this whole thing so bare with me while I try to conquer school! I most definitely would like to hear from you the ...
