FINALLY an update =]

I finally have a little time to sit down and make a new entry with some of the amazing photos I've taken with my graduation gift. An Update first, however. School is finally over and I have graduated from The University of Arizona with my Bachelor's of Science in Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences with a minor in Special Education, Rehabilitation, and Educational Psychology.  I recently was hired on at a hospital as a Hearing Tech (or an Audiologist Assistant). I have only been there a few weeks but I really do enjoy the work I have learned so far. The Audiologist rock and I have the privilege of working along side a retired U of A professor two days a week. =] The pictures above and below are my graduation cap. I decorated it with stars and a 'T'. I Received a SLR Nikon for my graduation gift. I almost cried from happiness! I am ecstatic at the picture quality and the abilities it has with the lens that were bought with it. I have a regular le...

coming soon!

so many things to tell all you reading this. I know its been a long time but once I have internet I will post a long entry, with many details and pictures from trips to California and Sedona. Pictures from my graduation gift! =] (sample collage shown) Published with Blogger-droid v1.3.6

Maybe if I chose Photography instead...

I would be able to update this thing more often WITH pictures. School has been over running me and since I'm in the 7th stretch of my last semester, I won't be updating so much. I'm posting this mainly to apologize for blank picture on a previous post. ANYway heres one picture for the time being...

New hobby

So I lied when I said in my last blog I would put pictures up later in the week...I got sucked into spending time with the Boyfriend and then I realized it was the weekend and I told Kathy I would help her with her booth. So to see what I did at the street fair take a look here . Kathy wrote a blog about the street fair and posted a picture I took or her booth and yarn and then a couple of me doing some new hobby stuff! I can now say I am addicted to fiber works. So here's my little shout out to Kathy. If you're in Tucson, or near Tucson, next weekend, Kathy is having her Shearing Festival. All of her animals will be sheared, booths demonstrating different things, and her shop will be open. It's at her Ranch so here's the website with more details and such!  Tucson Spring Shearing Festival at Wither's Ranch!

Bigger and Better

Unfortunately I'm not talking about my camera. My computer started being stupid and ended up needing new stuff. NOW it's got new and improved harddrive and CD/DVD drive. I have lots of pictures on my camera that I cannot wait to share. Spring Break is upon me and it's full of lazy busy work. I will be helping  Kathy  out at her booth at the 4th Avenue Spring Street Fair this weekend (March 19-21). Her booth number is on her website which is linked. As soon as I get my computer in working order again, as far as files where they need to be again, I will post pictures I have been taking. The weather is great here! If your reading this and the weather is nice get out and do something! HAPPY SPRING!

IT's HERE! =]

I've been working on this post for way too long! BUT I wanted to get it just right! anyway, my canvas picture came! I'm so excited. It looks awesome but now I wish I had spent the money on the 14x16, or whatever is the next size up. Here's a picture of the picture LOL   Now in the honor of all the rain we've had here in Tucson lately, I thought I'd give a show of thanks to my wonderful Rain Boots or Galoshes! I bought these beauties for $5 at Kohl's on clearance about 4 years ago. Everyone thought I was crazy. Everyone has a pair! I guess I'm a trend setter =P They have come in handy many times. I even bought another pair but I always seem to wear these ones... Valentine's Day! I know this is a little past due but today was the first day I have been able to take pictures. For Valentine's Day, instead of receiving a bouquet of roses, I received this orchid plant. I have yet to re-pot it but I need to do so soon! This is a close up of one o...

YAY more pictures!

I decided to procrastinate a little and give a little more information on each picture. I procrastinate best with messing with the blog and my pictures. I just wish I had more time to procrastinate ALL the time and just play. BUT School is not so kind to do so. ANYWAY, I'm only doing comments on the pictures that need comments, for example the sunset ones only get comments if I remember where it was taken. Enjoy! This is the Washington D.C. Latter Day Saints Temple. This is Autumnlea playing on a dirt pile that was at my parents house. The sunset was taken in, I believe, 2007, in West Tucson. This was taken in Steamboat Springs, CO at the Botanical Garden. Very beautiful place. This is Loki with my Dooney and Bourke. This is currently my desktop! This picture was produced out of boredom. I was waiting for the boyfriend to get out of class one day and I had no homework to do. All I had was a couple pens, the Arizona Daily Wildcat, and my camera. I drew this and started takin...
